I state my position and another joker characterises what that stated position sounds like.
I can't put proofs for everything I say in every post. When I do provide chains of reasoning and evidence its either ignored or mischaracterised. Or someone complains my posts are too long. Or asks for an executive summary. Then offers unsolicited advice. Or questions my motives.
You aren't asking me to show you the basis for my conclusions and if you did ask and I did go to the trouble of laying it out past experience has taught me when I laid out my argument (basically unpack the work I do to get to the conclusion I get to) I wouldn't even get a tick of acknowledgement for doing so.
I'd probably get a "well who you think I'm gunna believe - the company and world class experts and the living saints and prophets amongst us mere mortal men - or some anon like you on the internet"?
How about if you think I can't substantiate a statement you challenge me to a bet and offer to pay me if I can (so I get some return for effort) instead of you just saying how what I've said sounds to you?
You long term holder/frequent commenters are in a technology company but acting like some sort of religious group opposing heretics and the insufficiently zealous.
This is a stock forum. Its a technology company. And you don't want technology questions because it ruins the positive buzz for some of you as you hang out with your homies.
