tIr was clear that Regal would convert to STX unless there was a higher offer. It as pointed out in the STX announcement. The STX offer does not open until Friday.
Clearly a third party has entered at 35 cents. Hopefully MIN (assuming article is accurate) offer all shareholders 35 cents.
STX is likely to receive a takeover offer prior to drilling its next well.
Based on its land holdings with substantial upside the offer will need to be circa. $1 to succeed.
