watso is not too sure, what link misty is referring to - but the latest musings from burnside, included the following
"Abbott mentioned the Hazaras from Afghanistan and suggested they would be safe in Pakistan. He is wrong. Hazaras have long been targeted by the Pashtun majority in Afghanistan. The Taliban are mostly Pashtun and have targeted the Hazaras mercilessly."
it seems now, according to rudd (well, not rudd specifically - as he is no where to be seen for the backflip) - that afghanistan is a safe place.
not nice, not pleasant - but the hazari have lived in Afghanistan for donkey years. maybe if the hazari, had the numbers, then they would be the persecutors (that is the way it normally goes) - oh, and they bring their hatreds to australia - and even in the detention centres, they show their dislike to each other. one would think, that people, who are fleeing "persecution" would be tolerant of other people who are fleeing "persecution - but that does seem to be the way that it is
