China is in a far worse situation than it is letting on to the rest of the world. A lovely Chinese girl who is employed as an acupuncturist in a multi discipline medical practice where I work has just flown back to China today at the request of her father who is dying of Covid and her mother is also critically ill with it and her father in law has just passed away with it. They have both been told to not go to the hospital no matter how ill they are as there are no beds available and no medicine to treat them with. The EU has offered China free Covid vaccines but out of stubbornness they have rejected it.
