Yep, I raised this point in my bearish analysis (62766560). The bulls will tell you that:
#1 the ASX:MAY director said it is a legally binding contract,
#2 Cuba already gets about 30% of the oil for free from the production sharing contract,
#3 they would jeoparadise their future exploration if they took that action
#4 in the decades Sherritt was exploiting oil in Cuba, that did not happen to them, to my knowledge, and they turned into a multi-billion dollar company.
