Full disclosure, I own SYA and PLS shares.

The way I see it, SYA is in the box seat in regard to the US market (which is about to explode).

PLS is in the box seat in regard to exposure to the Asian markets, (especially the biggest one by far at the moment, which is China).

PLS has a mountain of cash rolling in every quarter, the amount is eye watering.

Now that the US has gotten serious about energy transition, the battery chemical world is about to undergo a dramatic change.

I am sure both SYA and PLS would love to have exposure to both the North American and Asia Pacific markets.

SYA has considerable assets in Australia, either fully owned or through their connection to 1MC. Many of these assets are interspersed with the assets that PLS has in the Pilbara,(the assets that are making a mountain of cash.

The way it is going, SYA is about to commence operations that will come close to achieving something similar in Canada to what PLS has achieved in Australia.

My thoughts are, that SYA and PLS should consider some sort of joint venture whereby both of them can gain exposure to each other’s markets.

How that might be achieved might be a bit tricky but if it could be done, the mind boggles at how big the joint venture would become.
