Open their arms wide for you. You can depend on them saving you if you're drowning, if you're caught in a fire, if you're starving. You can do no such thing with the likes of yipyak, charlene, olive, sailor's condom, LA, Dumb Dave and a great many others around here.
"They" is a very big word. It comprises the good AND the bad in every generalisation! But if we're going to use it then, I can assure you: Open your doors to them and they'll open theirs twice as widely. Shut yours and treat them with suspicion and injustice and you can surely expect that "they'll" treat you in the same manner!
