"We are pockets of consciousness"

how about... we think we are pockets of consciousness?

do you think that consciousness is always changing or static?
there are moments of consciousness of this occurance or that occurance.
fundamentally, is a "we", me or i, necessary for consciousness to exist?

if some tend to think that they are their experiences then they wind up inflating a sense of self which must always be delusory
this is often seen when asked who are you?
some say i am a builder, a singer, a lazy bum, a blackbelt in karate, etc.

identification with consciousness causes a lot of problems
