I would say that Trump would put in appeal after appeal and be dead before he runs out of courts to appeal too.

I hope Biden doesn't pardon him, heard some legal experts say that in hindsight giving Nixon a pardon was a mistake. DoJ need to set a precedent that no one, not even a former president is above the law so no future president tries to do what Trump did.

I don't see a civil war happening if Trump gets convicted, there would be a few die hard supporters that may take up arms but police and National Guard could take care of them
