Really sorry to hear your news. Just look after yourselves. Friends of mine, a couple in their 60"s recently got it, and it floored them for about 2 weeks. Fine now. Said they felt like a bus had hit them, and so tired.
I can't believe how lucky I have been, travelling around Europe, not a mask in sight, people everywhere from all over the world, and till today never got it, touch wood !! Strange how it effects people so differently.
I had the originally vaccine, then the booster. The booster was a different variety which caused problems for me, and I refuse to have another one. My doctor reported it to the health organization and the manufacturers. Wonder if they actually took any notice.
