clarification

the diesel fuel consumption is hwy cycle

of interest, look up the projected range on the Tesla cybertruck with a 200kw battery
and you will see that EVs approximate to 30% better range on city cycle than hwy cycle

it seems counter intuitive, but valid when you consider the instant torque an ev gives you (and the absence of really efficient gear mechanisms for hwy cycle)
