    You are right Simon, Whisky and GCar; that is quite a large area. To put it in even better perspective, below is an image I obtained from hacking into the Google Nest Cam of one of our neighbours on the western side of our salar (that shall remain nameless). This is apparently the salt harvesting / tailings from their 'demo plant'.
