I take your point about it being a rigid process but if as many people have OA as the numbers that get thrown around suggest, I can’t see how they can’t recruit people. Sure it may take a while to screen them but they can’t be short on actual numbers of people to screen. On top of that, people with OA Will try anything to get a better outcome so I’d think with the right PR work, people would be falling over themselves to be screened.. Get on the Facebook pages and read the poor buggers stories on there. I reckon you will fill the doctors rooms with patients just from the Facebook page let alone anywhere else. Remember, my point was in response to Mozz telling everybody to mention it to others.
