Yes, I took a look at those Strategic Industrial Area allocations over the weekend by the Industrial Lands Authority too and they are all well outside of our geographic area of interest. I think PRL probably has enough land already teed up for both the development and export facilities.
But these sorts of local & international reports on the burgeoning sector that make no mention of us are just further examples of our increasing invisibility in an industry we claim to be at the vanguard of. If we’ve handed over our communications ‘sovereignty’ already to TotalEnergies, and they are somehow making the call that David Frances cannot speak to media, industry or even update investors, then the next announcement out of PRL should be Total’s bid to take us over 100% and be done with it. Commercial confidentiality and partnership negotiations are one thing, being muzzled by a non-shareholding party is quite another.
I notice even the relentless Next Investors mob hasn’t said boo about PRL since August either. We’re just over a month until term sheet expiry, time for management here to open their mouths, they don’t deserve to be on holidays if they haven’t delivered to their timelines.
