Renewables provide intermittent, unreliable and expensive energy.
If you climate change zealots were actually serious about reducing emissions and providing affordable, reliable and secure energy you'd be all for low carbon secure energy supply like nuclear. But you're not... you pump intermittent's because its not actually about lowing emissions and providing affordable power, its about a political movement.
