It's all just conjecture on here. Lilac don't need to meet any continuous disclosure requirements unlike LKE. However, if I was to hazard a guess, given this was a legal issue only just a number of months back, I'd think that Lilac wanted to ensure that they met every hurdle that was in front of them and ensure that they were transparent with their partner. This would take some time to document and ratify IMO.

But let's look at what this announcement does advise. 1,000 continuous hours of operation. So almost 42 days straight of operations for a pilot plant. In a remote site (with just a genset and a jerry can to power everything ) and very little infrastructure. Is it just me or are some not seeing the forest through the trees here. What an achievement! Yes timeframes were missed (and yes given LKE's track record it's not surprising but still provides a level of frustration) Assuming that the test results are in line with previous samples, wow! Still not without risk here with the scale-out etc, but it is moving from a technical risk (not entirely addressed nor mitigated) to risks associated with delivery and scale-out.
