How do you know that TLS do pay in US$? Is that just a guess?
If Netcomm need to compete against the other makers the best way to do it is by selling in USD. They have said most of their sales are in USD, Telstra would be shopping with USD. It effects profit/revenue when translated to AUD, but as the CFO said in the radio announcement is has little bearing on the company. It does effect shareholders though.
We don't know if most of the sales are from Telstra or what contracts they have as they have not given real details.
I would say the big price fall is the aftermath of the online recommendation by that popular website/email guru thing going south. It also does not help having such inconsistent returns for shareholders, people don't like uncertainty. Maybe people are probably nervous about what/when/where/why/who Netcomm is about to spend, however, if they look up the meaning of "Capital Review" they might relax a bit.
