Another strong (and expected) performance in the copper price overnight.

Just as we witnessed the price of oil collapse in 2021 before making a Herculean comeback, we are witnessing the same thing with the price of copper.

Im expecting the price of copper to massively overshoot on the upside so it’s likely there will be plenty of blue sky to be found in the stock price of HGO.

If you superimpose a chart of the copper price with a chart of the HGO share price it seems to indicate that a HGO share price of between 8-10 cents is imminent.

I’m not a trader - I try and hold my stocks long term, hence the reason why I usually just invest in long term positions. Suffice to say, I’m now very comfortable holding my parcel of HGO shares.

Another point. The CPI figures in the United States come out in about 19 hours from now. They are expected to show a slowing down in inflation. Don’t be fooled. This will be a temporary reduction in inflation. With the price of commodities ( such as copper and oil) increasing significantly, this is going to have an inflationary effect world wide in about three to six months from now. Why is this important? Because the only hedge against inflation will be to buy commodities or companies invested heavily in commodities (such as HGO). FOMO could likely put a rocket under the HGO share price before we know it. Even if I’m wrong on this point, the supply issues with copper will also cause a profound sustainable increase in the copper price.
