Think I read somewhere that the geology in the area (Gawler Craton) is challenging because there is a 150 metre overburden at the surface that inhibits survey work that might more quickly identify IOCG deposits.
Means you have to drill. Slow + Expensive.
At our current rate of drilling (what, feels like one completed drill hole every 6 months) going to take decade.
Maybe someone more expert could comment?
