Make sure you have your banking details registered with share registry for your holding as the money will more than likely be quickly direct deposited into your bank account r bankinather than a cheque by snail mail and then the mandatory delay for bank to clear it before you can access the funds.

The companies do not alert you to this, and not paying dividends, many people dont worry about registering banking details. Typically the companies only send out a ‘heads up’ notification if you dont have bank details registered when they come to pay a dividend.
