What a great set of responses, lots of great detail and thoughts, these are the type posts we should be focusing on, after all this is our investment not a neighborhood pub.
Here are a couple quick thoughts based on some of the responses.
1. My belief is that once ore has been processed into sc6 the quality of the ore conversation ends. So if we are able to produce 226,000 tons of sc6 all of the impurity issues are behind us, that sc6 is now pretty much the same as any other sc6 that was produced from any mine site.
2. Ore grade at NAL is low but is economic, I compare it to Mt. Catlin (alkem) who have nearly the same ore grades as NAL and has been operating for over 5 years now and has been very profitable starting 2021.
3. Carbonate that was created in the past at NAL may not have been battery grade. I don't have any data to back this up, but at that point in time there were no Li-Ion batteries therefore the need for 99.9% carbonate was not exactly a requirement, so some of the assumptions about the past might be off.
