There is some data from ILU Wimmera project on Th and U for Murray Basin monazite con but VHM prospectus is a joke. Clearly U and Th is a major practical and operation cost issue (partly why monazite stopped being mined/sold/processed years ago), yet in their 432 page prospectus, "thorium" and uranium" are literally only mentioned once each, in the same paragraph (pg 255).


Certainly no U2O or Th2O assays are released... then again. to be fair ATR's 2022 FS Update doesn;t even mention uranium or thorium once Below is a table of typical Australian monazite and xenotime..

I assume transport and export is doable one way or another, it's an issue/expense to deal with not a fatal flaw. Not a fan of trying to hide it thinking investors/community won;t realise it is an issue (though typical ASX stuff). Clearly ILU in addition to other Murray Basin players have done a hell of a lot research and government discussion on transporting monazite con because they are building a $1.3B monazite cracking plant in Eneabba with a generous $1B loan from Oz government. What the actual solution for transport/export is I haven't find out for sure.

I know ILU was exporting at least some of a 20% monazite con from Eneabba Stage 1 stockpile project, similar to QMM in Madagascar who transport a similar low grade mon con I believe. We know the plan is to use bagged, sealed mon con inside steel shipping containers, but not how much volume of con per container or what other con can be shipped with each container containing mon con? We also know rules for transporting NORM material are detailed and strictly adhered to...
