re: Ann: HRL offered further volcanic geother... A couple of questions/issues.
-Does a geothermal lease in Chile cover other kinds of mineral exploitation? In most states in Australia it doesn't, though if the brine was extracted during the course of geothermal production I have no idea how that would be dealt with or whether its feasible.
-There is some political pressure in Chile (from supporters of SQM) to not allow anyone else to exploit lithium brines. Possible this isn't insurmountable and there are a couple of TSX listed juniors at least exploring for lithium in Chile.
-When looking at Li grades don't just look at the concentration but also the Li:Mg ratio (lower is better), and potential by-products (usually potash).
Interesting angle on the stock though, will keep an eye on it.
