I am only one misreading the overall market?
I am trading here and there and for bits and pieces, but 2 weeks ago, would not have said I am definitely going in long with the big truck. If i did, i would have made a lot more than i have of late.
So I obviously have a lot to learn.
Yesterday, the market began tanking. YES I say! Not buying this dip, I'll wait for a couple more down days as this has been coming for a while. (wasn't game to short it either)
Now I feel like one of those in the "FOMO" club (fear of missing out) Not game to go short, and not game to go long.
I think Volt put it as a rabbit looking into the headlights.
I make my own decisions and take full responsibility for them. I have been looking for a correction as have others from what I have read. I hear the Shane Oliver's say the market is headed for 5600 or whatever - I think to myself, yeah right - World debt? Printed money? PIIGS? etc ....
Maybe the Olivers are right. I seem to keep looking under rocks and not finding anything. It just feels like someone is going to be hold a hot potato, and I don't want it to be me.
Hope this hasn't sounded sooky... more frustrated and mildly disillusioned than anything.
BV - i hope you do speak at the Melbourne meet. Would love to hear more on your thoughts on banks and how to trade them better.
