While he's at it perhaps Senator Brown could introduce a Bill to remove late fees charged by Telstra.

If you do not pay a bill by its due date, we can charge you an administrative fee of:
a) $5.00 if the amount outstanding on your bill after the due date is $65.00 or
more but less than $130.00;
b) $11.00 if the amount outstanding on your bill is $130.00 or more but less
than $200.00; or
c) $15.00 if the amount outstanding on your bill is $200.00 or more.
