GRRRRR!
On the one hand the company says these expect future operating conditions to worsen and on the other hand the Board keep buying - indicating that they at least expect company performance to improve. Consequently being unsure what to believe the market takes a cautious approach, the Board accumulates and then (I assume) better than expected the results come in, up goes the SP and management explain the situation by saying they were being cautious and the staff had been more productive than expected. Looks to me like a case of under promising and over delivering.
