I really believe that there are internal conversations between Lilac and Lake that are not going according to plan. As a more experienced person, I believe LILAC has major issues with the quality of Lake's tenements. Lake on the other hand is pressuring Lilac not to release this information to the public. In defense of LILAC, they have developed technology to speed up the extraction process, yes, but let us face it, they can only stretch it so far! Anything less than 300 mg/liter is a real pain, LILAC and LAKE must know this. Also, it should be mandatory for LAKE to publish a map showing where the first lithium chloride in their Kachi Tenement came from. It Is possible that there could be such major problems on the land package that Lilac DLE technicians are maybe forced to constantly adjust the process, making it extremely difficult, time-consuming, and financially problematic to deliver. The second part of the process has to be done in the U.S. and as an investor, you can only assume that the lithium chloride will be in line with the specifications that the company will later build at Kachi. There are a lot of open variables that are open to discussion and interpretation. I think Lilac has its merits if you can extract 900 mg/liter and lose 35% but gain 700 days of waiting time and a 50-70% reduction in water use. the lake has issues. Since DD has been CEO, he has not spoken once in public. Maybe he does not want to tarnish his reputation right now. He is also waiting it out. Remember folks, Lake took a long time to find a CEO. DD is CEO since September 2022. I wish they could be more transparent because regular investors deserve it.
The extraction of lithium from low-grade sources, such as lithium chloride, poses significant challenges in the production of lithium carbonate. These challenges include high energy consumption and the potential for environmental degradation. Furthermore, the limited availability of low-grade lithium resources requires the use of alternative and more expensive extraction methods, which increases the overall cost of production. Therefore, research and development of more efficient and sustainable methods for direct lithium extraction from low-grade sources are crucial for the long-term viability of the lithium industry.
