Running Firefox with Adblock here an I haven't had any problems. Probably narrows it down to a script in an ad somewhere.
Adblock is a fantastic addon as it gets rid of pretty much every ad and prevents quite a lot of scripts being run. I have never had it block anything I wanted off the web, just everything I don't want. Highly recommend it to all firefox users (and I believe there is a chrome version too)
