quarbing you make a good point, however I might point out that in reality the risk profile of KAR was significantly higher for those of us that bought KAR in 'the good old days'. Remember for a minute that at that time they were not drilling, had very little data only promising offshore areas in prospective locations which others had surrended in some cases. Today anyone buying is buying knowing that P1 has considerable gas, arguably the other areas around it too have commercial gas & of course we are days away from finding out if the highly likely current site is a winner. Add to this the areas off Sth America where they now have excellent 3D data and all it's neighbours are hitting oil & gas with just about every hole.

In short, this has always been a highly speculative investment, not for the faint hearted or those unable to loose their investment - I suspect we're all in the same boat.
