what are ctpra please?, page-39

Good old comsec.
Bought ctpra two days ago. Advice was that unless I notified them to the contrary they would automatically purchase on my behalf the rights @ 7.5. I assumed this would all happen after today when the ctpra finished...wrong. Comsec have dinged me today not only the ctpra funds but also the full 7.5c, albeit with only one transaction fee. I was a bit stunned to see that happen.
My point being, what IF I had wanted to on trade those ctpra whilst they were STILL current?
Is this a common practice with comsec and do any of the other companies pull this sort of stunt??
