UK has been a great disappointment with only 1 contract announced in the last 9 months that was a hospital in southampton with $2.8million. I gather they dont have to announce contracts under 10% of revenue i e $3.4 million but pressure was on last December so they had to announce it. We acquired Silverlink over a year ago and all I see is renewal business of $2.8 million announced last April this is from a company which was supposed to have annual revenue of $7.8 million. Silverlink were also selling into 11 nhs trusts in UK which we hoped would be new clients for ALC but nothing yet from that area.

If the nurses strike in the nhs means they have to give a high wage increase, possibly 10% ,then budgets will have to be cut in all other departments so new contracts out of UK are probably on hold. All in my opinion of course.
