You put it in the pipeline, or truck to delivery point so who knows who actually buys it. I suspect in that region an oil coslidator who bundles all the small producers. You get the daily price. West Texas Intermediate is the benchmark price at Cushing Oklahoma. If your oil is above quality to benchmark, you get a beter price. And vice versa for lower quality. Then subtract pipeline transport cost, usually a couple dollars a barrel.
