nevertheless, the ukraine conflict is mentioned ..
in a video somewhere, comment was made about the declining influence of the european union .. which was relevant as some poster was claiming that nato could provide an inexhaustible supply of weapons for ukraine ..
so maybe america would back down if it had to directly confront the chinese over taiwan .. but would they also back down in relation to the conflict in ukraine ???? ..
in the interview that watso mentioned, a comment was made, that great powers do not usually confront each other directly .. so during the cold war, there was never a direct conflict between the soviet union
(and warsaw pact) and america/nato ..
the reality of life is, that the days of the america being the unipolar bully boy of the world are slowly being wilted away and like a cornered wild animal - will they lash out???
so who is winning/losing in ukraine .. and who has the highest casualties
common sense says that it is the russians who are winning big time - for no other reason than they have a fraction of the number of casualties ...
it is obvious that the ukrainians are begging for weapons because they have exhausted what they have started off with - and what has already been supplied ..
for what it is worth, but every tank/artillery piece destroyed - that equates to relevant manpower being destroyed .. and it seems that the russians have overwhelming fire power, which is destroying plenty of equipment - and obviously by the same logic - plenty of ukrainian troops
