Probably because there’s almost nothing left to short in this recent run, especially if you look at the trading patterns.
market has more pain to come, it’s just buying time
while traders continue to exit positions and take new ones, many licking wounds and attempting recovery from last year.
interest rate and credit risk exposed stocks will continue to stagnate, with some not even being that lucky.
