    thanks GSe, however that is a business not a "normal" investmnet property per se. the ones we are talking about, are private rental 6 month/ 12 month leases.

    All I am trying to point out is imo property in the general sense has had its day for now, no get rich like we have seen the last 5 years.
    It has more potential to stagnate or even go backwards than rise imo.

    In 5 years time we can all see what happened. At least with shares I can buy 1 parcel for $500 min, not do a whole house thing...now on another note getting into reits that have been pummelled could be a better way for investors. Like buying a $500k house with a loan on it of $250K for $300K.. There are a few reits with that sort of sums.
