I received an email from Ian (NXS CEO) early this morning that based on current nomenclature the Longtom reservoir is part of the Emperor Subgroup.
It probably could have been solved if BHP had done a better job of logging it.
Interesting comments about the influence of the fault on porosity and incorrect porosity readings. I have no trouble with regard to fault-derived fluids reducing porosity - I have seen many faults with extended silica or clay alteration into both the hanging and footwalls - which would reduce porosity. That incorrect reading were taken, I need more details.
If correct, very positive for Longtom.
