That's fascinating Moguns. I didn't expect this result. I'm not involved with Cann, but am quite disappointed for them. My personal experience and that of my partner is with CBD tinctures, and they have been very good as a sleep aid for both of us. That said, there are several key distinctions that might make all the difference in my case. 1) My strains are all THC and CBD rich (usually half half) 2) I do not decarboxylate, meaning most of the cannabinoids are in their acid form 3) I have no idea how much I am administering when I take 6-7 drops: their doses may have been limited by the TGA policies for OTC It is notable that even with a strain with virtually no CBD (less than 1%), the THCA rich tincture is a wonderful sleeping aid. So one hypothesis is that the dosage requirements by the TGA are undermining the possibility of providing a simple OTC sleeping aid for the population. We might well wonder whether technologies such as the one Incannex acquired with APIRx, that optimise CBD absorbtion, might tip the scales here for such an indication. Another is that CBDA and or THCA may be more effective for encouraging a good night of sleep. That would be a huge shame because CANN would then have wasted a huge amount of time and money testing the wrong candidate. Keeping in mind that inclusion of even the acid form of THC would be legally problematic for OTC, because although it is not psychoactive, the TGA would consider abuse too likely since all it takes to convert it to THC is heat. In any event, we get to again appreciate the founding strategy of Incannex. Literally none of this is our problem. All the best Moguns

This is why IHL is chasing Novel drugs. The sleep market is very saturated and you would need mind blowing results to create a new drug. That being said, early results of our OSA drug are exceptional. The combination drug IP is what sets us apart with all our candidates. Disappointing for CAN but not sure why you would be even trying to do what they are doing.
