Clearing cache and/or clearing recent history can be a real pain: these things are stored by the browser to enhance performance.

My system: Mac OSX 10.4, browser: Safari 4.0.5

I still get the non-refresh on portfolio view, but one solution that has worked this morning is to manually alter the URL in the address bar by adding superfluous text at the end of the address after a "?" (question-mark).

The address for portfolio view is:
    https://www.comsec.com.au/ClientAccess/Portfolio/SummaryChessHoldings.asp

add a ? followed by any simple a=b phrase, for example:
    https://www.comsec.com.au/ClientAccess/Portfolio/SummaryChessHoldings.asp?foo=1

When refreshing, do not select the 'refresh' link on the portfolio view itself, but rather put your cursor into the address bar and press 'enter'.

Technically speaking, what this addition does is to pass parameters to the server, in this case we are telling the sever to process portfolio view with the additional information that 'foo' = 1. The server of course has no interest in the value of 'foo', so it's harmless.

It does however refresh my page, as confirmed by the "CHESS Holdings as at 09:43 Sydney Time, Friday, 16-April-2010 for:" display at the top of the view.
