Western media is by far a better way to receive news than Russian or Chinese media.... non-existent truth, single state view, propaganda. I prefer my reality mixed and spread across news sources. not single state source lies or individual lunatics.

Interesting about the Leopard tanks, the great thing about democracies is the gradually rattling to a decision after hearing all views and working out the best long term strategy. Totally different to decision making by Putin, roll into a country on ego and weird philosophy of "one people", then killing those people, civilians and your soldiers, destroying vast amount of equipment, and eventually territory, Turning Russia's clock back a decade or 2. Destruction of any economic power or world respect.

Crimea via Melitipol Ukraine objective would be a good outcome, then recovery of the eastern territories.

New York Times... realistic I feel... The discussion is how best to construct a Ukraine offensive in the time available with equipment that is getting increasingly more complex.
