please go back and reread and post the post number where 5 was a prediction. My prediction has always been 6. How I will admit I have said 5 is a possibility several times. It was not a prediction. It was also based on a major recession which has not happened, but I still think is a high possibility. Not nearly as strong as I did a few months ago. With petrol prices rising again inflation may yet again raise its ugly head.

Yes they are only up 1.1% YTD but I have seen a 0.22 rise at all stations especially discount stations in the last week. that's 7% A friend told me his latest heating oil purchase was up 5%. My latest Electric rate was up 50% but that is only adjusted twice a year. There is talk in the press about another increase. I sell Electric, not buy it, so this makes me happy.
