they were not local areas , look at the quality , they were coins of the empire - you have nothing to support that or that that Kievan empire was not standalone - waiting to see evidence for that ...not coimg ...doesn't exist

whatever you choose to call it the trident was being used by ancient Ukrainian kings as a symbol for the Kyiv empire 500 years before russia even became a kingdom and long before there first coinage ....I've shown you all these ancient Ukrainian coins ....show me any early russian ...maybe one with the double headed eagles ..will be way way later !
