I went to bed early with a headache and slept through the whole thing. A friend who lives at Clovelly Park was sitting with her husband in the lounge room and said it felt like a noisy truck driving past, however their window was open and they concluded it wasn't a passing truck. Their house shook and a painting on their wall moved. They knew it was a tremor/earthquake. I like the idea of bells around the house, as it would provide some warning.
