    re: hookes trial - don't be too hasty in judgement As I stated at the time despite those here condeming the bouncer without knowing the facts.

    Should the bouncer have continued the fight/scuffle outside the pub? - NO but this is hardly a serious crime.

    Should the bouncer have hit Hookes? - Depends on what Hookes was doing at the time if it was a case of self defence or at the very least a case of both being in the wrong.

    Was Hookes the victim of a savage beating? - NO he was on the receiving end of 1 or 2 unlucky punches.

    Hookes certainly did not deserve to end up dead, but it is very unlikely he and or his mates or totaly innocent victims and contributed their fair share to the events that lead up to Hookes dying.
