In regards with the Ann date I am afraid that might not be the case.
The Dec quarter report for 2021 and 2020 were announced on each January 27 next year,one of which is a Thursday while the other is a Wednesday. There were literally 3 business open days remaining in each of the case.
The Dec quarter report for 2019 and 2018 were each announced on 28/01/2020 and 29/01/2019, each with four days and three days for trading remaining open.
If that is not coincidental, I would rather think in this January there are only two candidate dates available to announce the Dec 2022 quarter report, as 28 January and 29 January are weekends. In my opinion if it is announced on 27 January which is a Friday, the momentum could be discontinued because of the two days’ closing of ASX. If the Ann is announced on Monday, there still remains two successive days to trade the momentum if there is.
