There were numerous announcements issued at the end of December regarding quotation of shares, cessation of shares and change of directors interests.
I would normally assume that these types of announcements would be issued by the Company Secretary who would then recognise the need for a 708A if applicable.
I did noticed that the change in directors interest announcements had a cover letter and had Eric Kuret as a contact.
So who really issued these announcements?
It’s not clear to me. I will never know if it was Eric or the CoSec or someone with the authority to do so.
The cover letter to these announcements did state that they were authorised by the CoSec.
So I see two possibilities here…
1. The CoSec is incompetent or
2. The CoSec never authorised the announcements.
Either way it needs to be addressed…
