Banter and general comments, page-21732

Last year I said to anyone who would listen that the ocean in my parts was warmer than I’d ever felt it before. Never really got a lot of reaction from many and today I finished my regular ocean swim and talking to my neighbour and a lifesaver with both commenting on how warm the water has been . This is no phenomenon it’s happening,if the way of the world can’t try to change and change fast there will be catastrophes one after the other. Was watching the Auckland floods the other day and there was a comment in my household questioning whether the flooding of Auckland had happened before and my response was that the airport wouldn’t never have been built where it was if the area had been underwater or in a flood zone. Proserpine in Queensland had something like 1/2 metre of rainfall within the space of 12 hours a week or so ago. I personally can’t wait to buy an EV within the next couple of years to do my bit by advertising to others to be a worthwhile change in transport options, word of mouth sometimes works better than any other way. The people who don’t and won’t change in the next 10 years imo are selfish and self centred ###kers that I will have no time for ,hopefully they don’t check the road when crossing and get hit by a passing silent electric vehicle that can sneak up on them and put them out of their miserable ways.
