It was probably pitched to them by CG (along with the CR that wasn't needed). In hindsight, it wasn't the best move because it distracted WR1 from progressing the Jamar discovery in earnest. The discovery was made last October yet a second rig only started spinning last week. For a "world class" discovery (to quote WR1), it's strange that more rigs are not on site. Hopefully WR1 picks up its act and gets things really moving. Having the MD on the ground over there is a must at this stage otherwise I would expect more of the same (slow progress). Also, WR1 really needs to get its act together with its compliance of the ASX Rules. If you go back and examine all their past ASX announcements, it's just been one calamity after another (and that's not even considering the dyslexic errors and typos!).
