Banter and general comments, page-21747

Agree we have ditched the horse and cart but everyone on this forum and all other forums are using a mobile phone, laptop or computer. When they go flat we just plug them into the power socket and charge them up and think nothing of it. Where is the power coming from? Just a small amount of power in the bigger picture, but we have lights going to read what we are doing and writing on the forum(be it bullsh?t or not?. Electricity is something we ALL take for granted and RELY on every minute of our lives. It has become an evil necessity that we cannot do without. Washing,. Cooking, lighting, heating and cooling, entertainment and the list is endless. Oh and charging ev,s. When we plug into the power socket do any of us think "where is this invisible power coming from?. No of course we don't , we just take it for granted. Please do not get me wrong I am VERY long on CXO and have been here longer than most but the transition to a greener and different way of generating electricity is a long way off !!!!!! Less criticism of those that realise this would go a long way. Cheers.
