I have no idea what you are going on about,

This is not manipulation, this is legit short selling which happens in every major market, It allows you to sell stock that is borrowed or loaned and repurchase at a lower price, you would do this if you believe the share price will drop or if you would like ot hedge exposure in a sector of for various other reasons.

It provides a valid need to the market and also provides further liquidity, don't invest in a stock if you cant handle the drops and if yolu are a speculator and not an investor than i guess you need to go to elsewhere.

I hold BPT and just purchased more as believe it is highly undervalued but could not care less on the short term gyrations
