not only that, but there was recently an article in Scientific America talking about the costs and dangers of recycling nuclear weapons...
Could be one of those many US presidential projects that costs too much then gets canned after the next election, and that is really when this thing will start, since the US has very little technology and resources to handle such a program and it will take years to get going...
But hey, I'm no expert :-)
